Wool on cotton. Period of manufacture: 1950-1999. In very good condition. Imported in the ’80s. Sold with its certificate of authenticity. The rug is professionally cleaned. Can be collected on site. Armenibaft: name for rugs from the Chahar Mahal (Bakhtiaris) Bakhtiar: nomadic population of Lur origin, settled in the 30s (Chahar Mahal, Western Iran). The garden or 4-season rug is a classic among Bakhtiaris. The major achievements of the Bakhtiaris include the villages of Shahre Kord, Shalamzar, Tchalechotor, Sarman, Armenibaft as well as Faradoumbé with the Göl Farang motif.
