BOUKHARA DESIGN Russia – 315 x 195 cm, Oriental rug hand-knotted wool, Bukhara design, without central medallion and a large border. Period of manufacture: 1950-1999. Sold with its certificate of authenticity, in very good condition. The rug is professionally cleaned. Can be collected on site. The Bukhara rug is the best known of Uzbek rugs. They are made in the west of the Uzbek capital. Timeless, they are easily recognisable by their repetitive Elephant’s Foot or Gul motifs and their blood-red colour.
