Hand-knotted rug made of hand-spun wool and vegetable dyes. Large central floral medallion, on beige and blue background, brick background border. Imported in the ’80s. Sold with its certificate of authenticity. The rug is professionally cleaned. Can be collected on site. TCHUBI: Khal Mohammadi and Afghan Aqche are two of the most popular types of Afghan rugs. Khal Mohammadi are hand-knotted rugs made by the Turkmens of Northern Afghanistan. Their main colours are shades of dark red in its various shades. The motifs are the göl (pattern that resembles an elephant’s foot) and the octagon (eight-sided figure), often accompanied by stylised flowers in shades of dark blue, ochre and beige.
