BIDJAR Iran – 203 x 143 cm, Oriental rug, hand-knotted in wool, the wool is hand-spun and naturally coloured. With a central medallion and floral borders. In beige and red. Bidjar rugs have a double Persian knot, and are known as very hard-wearing rugs. Sold with its certificate of authenticity, in very good condition. The rug is professionally cleaned. Can be collected on site. BIDJAR : These rugs are of very high quality and are sometimes referred to as Persian ‘iron rugs’ because of their extreme strength and durability. They are thick, very compact and heavy, with a remarkable quality of wool. They are double-knotted and their pattern makes them very easy to place.
